Organic by John Patrick - Fall 2011 - Gorg.

Today is the first day of FASHION WEEK! Obviously. I'm super excited for this week. Sadly, I was unable to get tickets, but I definitely will be glued youtube this week. Anyways, one of my favorite picks for the day was Organic by John Patrick. He was one of the first designers to use eco-friendly fabrics in a beautiful and incredibly tailored manner. This collection gave a very romantic feel. Cozy and sophisticated. The thigh high boots socks were a perfect addition to each piece. I adored the blouses sans collar. I also now need a pair of lace up Hunter boots. And of course, my love for florals.

John Patrick also put a video on a projection to show where he obtained the fabrics. There was also a QR code that you scan using your phone and find the source-map of his textiles. Ethically and socially responsible. I love it. Below are a few of my favorite pieces.
